Post-HSC Adventures

Hello all.

I suppose it’s been a while since I’ve posted up a decent account of anything (vlogs don’t count). I think before HSC I planned to take photos and blog every single awesome thing we’ve done together but clearly, it’s just WAY TOO HARD. I actually don’t  have much material to talk about so you can run away now – I just plan on rambling a little because there’s nothing better to do on this stinking hot Saturday afternoon. (:

1. Well I haven’t really acknowledged the end of HSC have I? It’s only been what, a bit over two weeks since we finished Chemistry but I swear it feels like it’s been MONTHS. It’s only been two weeks and I think we’re already trashed – running out of things to do and getting really tired (well, I am). It’s funny because the “end of HSC” is something you look forward to for soooo long and when it comes the feeling isn’t as spectacular as you’d imagine it to be. ;D

2. Formal and afters. Formal was, I guess, how everybody expected it to be haha. Girls all prettied up, guys all suited up.. some guys more dressed than others.. ;D Declined the offer of coming in an eyepatch (which I regret now) and food wasn’t all that great in my opinion. Xining vs. Manbir dance-off was quite.. an experience haha (: Afters. Well, I think most of us would agree it was quite a “learning experience” and that is all I’m going to say (;

What was freaking weird was that I just labelled that point number 3. What the hell.

3. Interviews. Had my UNSW Med interview yesterday and gosh it was quite a shock haha. There was about 6/7 people waiting to have their interview at 11am. It’s only when you’re waiting you think of random things that could happen beacuse everybody knows once you imagine it happening, it won’t. I thought about stacking it before I went in, my shoe falling off, me forgetting my name.. that sorta thing heh. Eventually all the people were called in except this other girl from Killara High and me. Naturally, the waiting just made us more jittery and nervous haha. Eventually somebody came out of Room E (my one) but walked straight past me. That freaked me out cus I had no idea what was happening. After another long while he walked back to tell me the fans aren’t working properly and that I had to wait. What the heck. ;D Eventually I had my interview and I wow it was weird – so structured and not as friendly as everybody made it out to be. Maybe it was just my interviewers D: Rest of interview was uneventful except the lights went out in the middle HAHA. What the heck, again. In hindsight I have no idea how I feel about how I went. It’s really mixed and I guess I’ve just got to cross my fingers and hope for the best. :\

4. Schoolies! How exciting, 7 days without parents or any worry in the world.. maybe. We are going up to Whale Beach on the 26th November (: I guess that’s all I can say about this.. but I plan on blogging about it laterz so I guess that’s something to look forward to..

UNTIL THEN, FAREWELL.

PS. Who called me at midnight the other day using their home phone? >:|

I FEEL FREE. and full of ENERGY after pulling an all nighter before my 3U english exam. my 13 years of schooling ends here . and its both exciting and scary because im no longer a child who has to come home when my parents tell me to, or a kid who has to study before watching tv. im free.

and the past 3 days has been so good because I’ve just done whatever I wanted to; I can leave the house whenever i want, get home however late i want, and just doing whatever I want without feeling the teeniest bit guilty.

ahhaha and reading sy’s latest post reminded me of my childhood days. yesterday, I met up my nsg friend, who gave me my time capsule which I had made back in year 7. and reading what I wrote 6 years ago, I realise i was so immature. But that also means, I’ve grown ;) for the better. ehehe.

well in my time capsule, I wrote things like: “OMG dis is reli cool. i rok.” and ‘graffitied’ all over the plastic sleeve. HAHA we should make time capsules :) and read it 10 years later.

OH and also , me and shazza were at parra today , and some urban art chalk festival was on , so there were all these cool chalk drawings on the ground and it reminded of the illusion photographs and artworks on the pixdaus site. so i’ve left one here for you guys. enjoy :)
